The document describes the seismeic design requirements in Chile for power plants and associated civil works.
The term appears as a point in a list addressing minimum requirements for horizontal resistance testing, which I've abbreviated below and which finishes with an equation:
"Las pruebas mínimas de resistencia horizontal se realizarán siguiendo la pauta
que se indica a continuación: [...]
c) El valor cuadrático medio (rms) de ****las dos primeras ceriondas de
aceleración*** deberá ser igual o mayor que [equation]"
I can't find an acceptable meaning for "ceriondas", obviously has to with waves. The RAE dictionary definition is an adjective applied to cereal crops starting to turn yellow and ripen.
I'd be very grateful for any thoughts, please.

I believe "ceriondas" is a typo for "semiondas", perhaps due to an auditory error(?)

Typically seismic tests use ANSI/IEEE C37.98 1987 (update of 501-1978) and consulting that would be worthwhile.
"Shake table" and "zero-crossings" are relevant keywords.
