الدائن

Arabic to English Law/Patents Law (general)
على الدائن إثبـات الالتزام وعلى المدين إثبات التخلص منه .

From Article 1 of Egypt's evidence law. Every definition I can find only defines دائن as a creditor (and مدين as a debtor). Here, though, دائن seems to mean "claimant" and مدين seems to mean "defendant." Any help would be appreciated.

إذا أراد أن يقول المدعي لقالها ... النص صريح للغاية ولا يحتمل تأويل آخر ... هذا من وجهة نظري
