I'm translating this document (México) containing details of an employee's hours worked (including clock in and clock out times) and its performance (with supervisor's signature on each day the employee worked). On a certain day, "Receta" (no hours mentioned) appears and I cannot think of what this means or refers to. Any ideas?

Doctor prescription

Explanation:
Only thing I can think of is that maybe he/she had a doctor appointment that day and there is some sort of prescription attached to the log?

agree  Robert Carter: Maybe "approved sick leave" would carry that implication.

sick leave

Explanation:
In this case it would be a doctor's note indicating a sick leave of absence.
