I have searched high and low for this abbreviation but have not come up with anything, so would appreciate your input.
The context is a 91 year old male patient who has had TAVI (transaortic valve implantation) and has a history of arterial hypertension that is gradually being controlled post-surgery:

I am no physician but......
I think that labetalol is administered in emergency situations. If the BP is under control, then, possibly, it is discontinued.

: Not in this case, this is the treatment used. And discontinued is an English term, there would be no reason to use an English abbreviation in this case.

I disagree: BP controlled [therefore] drugs D/C - I receive a lot of French documents and a lot of them have multiple English acronyms either because a French acronym does not exist as of yet or due to laziness. Worst offenders: Canadian documents.
