I’d consider omitting the full definition of the term “margin loan” and going with just “tais empréstimos,” with the broader context doing the rest of the job and making the full translation redundant (the reader understands that such loans are granted against securities as collateral).
OR, if you really want a fuller technical translation, I’d go with a descriptive model and consider rephrasing the English to make easier to translate into Portuguese then in the following fashion:
