Italian term or phrase: Mq
I am translating a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module to be used online by agents internationally, and I am using Trados. I have come across multiple segments with this 'Mq' in them. I am fairly sure that this does not translate to 'metres squared', in spite of the fact that all of my research seems to point to this. I do not have much in the way of context, but I'll copy a handful of segments:

Griglia: Situazione vendite: Mq anno 1
Griglia: Situazione vendite: Mq anno 4
Griglia: Situazione vendite: Mq anno 5

Thanks for your help!

square meters
Explanation:
mq is the common abbreviation for metri quadrati...then again, it depends on what they are selling, right? If they're selling water then no, this is NOT the right answer. Otherwise, without further context, this would be it.

Take a look at the link (although I'm sure you've looked at this already)
