Mianem “wydolności krążeniowo – oddechowej” określa się to, co w j. angielskim nazywane jest (jako) „ cardiorespiratory fitness” i posiada także swój skrót - CRF (F= fitness).

Cardiorespiratory fitness refers to the ability of the circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen to skeletal muscles during sustained physical activity. Regular exercise makes these systems more efficient by enlarging the heart muscle, enabling more blood to be pumped with each stroke, and increasing the number of small arteries in trained skeletal muscles, which supply more blood to working muscles. W istocie oba pojęcia są bardzo bliskie i tłumaczenie zaproponowane przez Pana Pawła spełnia swoją funkcję. Jedynie w swoim komentarzu chciałbym zwrócić uwagę na drobne niuanse- które czasami mają znaczenie.

PYTANIE 1- czy istnieje takie pojęcie jak „sprawność krążeniowo – oddechowa”? . Tak, istnieje.
