Medical - Medical (general) / Pathology Report - Ovarian Cyst
Spanish term or phrase: de localización basal
Country of origin: Mexico

This is from a pathology report of an ovarian cyst - under the sub-heading "Microscopic Description".

El quiste presenta revestimiento epitelial parcialmente preservado, constituido por celúlas cúbicas simples, con núcleo redondo, de localización basal, y borde apicial ciliado.

The cyst shows partially preserved epithelial lining comprised of simple cubic cells, with a round nucleus, of xxxxxxxxx and a ciliated apical border.

Any insight into "localización basal" would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
