Lithuanian term

aktas

Lithuanian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
How do you translate "aktas", when it is used as the shorter form of "darbų perdavimo-priėmimo aktas"?

Would you use "statement", "act" or other word?

Depending on the sentence you need to translate, e.g. „pasirašė aktą“, you meet be able to say "he signed an Acceptance".
Note from asker:
Yes, but I need a short form of the whole phrase. How could I say it in one word? Let's say someone wants to shorter this full form in the contract.

acceptance statement // acceptance certificate // work completion certificate …

… and the list can go on and on. There doesn’t seem to be a set in stone term in English, as the usage varies from country to country and from company to company.

You may want to look up here (see the links below) and pick any version that fits your context best:

Bottom line: I'd go with "STATEMENT." "ACT" would be the last thing I'd use, as it is a "false friend."
