Text about various tourist train routes.
The title of a table is "TRENES DE ACERCAMIENTO (INCLUIDOS GRATUITAMENTE)"
I've thought about 'transfer' / 'approach' / 'connecting,connection' - the latter is the one I have at the moment as I don't think the first two are right.
Down the left-hand side is the name of each particular train trip option.
Opposite some of these is of these is:
"Se puede optar por **un acercamiento** gratuito desde (place A) a (place B) en tren Media Distancia, con salida a las 08h00, pudiendo regresar de igual modo a (place A) en el tren que sale de (place C) a las 19h00."
or
"Se pueden **realizar acercamientos gratuitos** desde cualquier estación de FEVE incluida en el tramo entre A y B"
They are basically alternatives to taking the transport options (different departure point/method of transport than that stated in the programme for each of these train trips - the idea is that they will all reach a certain common point where the day's activities/visits will begin).

I'm not sure whether 'connection' is OK, but it may be because I don't fully understand the context. For me, 'connection' implies that you will be travelling by train to a station, and once you reach that station you will be taking a different train. There seems to be a specific purpose to the travelling, which is simply to get from A to B by going through C, where you will take another train.
As I understand it, I think 'transfer' would be better, because the trains take you from your hotel (I imagine) to the place where the activities are to take place.
In any case, the suggestion I've included at the top changes the sentence around a bit to cover all the bases.
I hope it's helpful, or that at least it inspires someone to come up with something better.

Judging by what you're saying, I think 'connection' is the best option.
'Free train travel' definitely doesn't work, because you're giving the impression that all the trips are going to be free, whereas only the connections to other trains are.
I think 'Transfer' would work if you were travelling directly from the place where you are to the place where the activities are to take place.
As I understand it, I think 'transfer' would be better, because the trains take you from your hotel (I imagine) to the place where the activities are to take place.
In any case, the suggestion I've included at the top changes the sentence around a bit to cover all the bases.
I hope it's helpful, or that at least it inspires someone to come up with something better.

People can pick up a train at an alternative point to that specified in the tourist train programme, which will then take them to the station where the actual tourist train route will begin. The programme includes different routes that can be enjoyed on tourist trains, stopping off to visit various places. I think your suggestion might work for some parts, but what about the heading - "Free train travel" maybe? |

Cross-London Transfers: If your ticket is for a through journey which involves going into London, and then back out again (e.g a route from Bath to Cambridge would arrive in Paddington, then go across London to either King's Cross or Liverpool Street stations to get the train back out towards Cambridge) - you are normally entitled to use the London Underground on the same ticket to make the transfer - if an Asterisk symbol "*" appears after the station names on the ticket then it is valid for this purpose. But don't try and leave the Tube system at an intermediate station however as the barriers won't let you out!

You're usually allowed to stop off en route - including overnight - on your outward and return journeys, but check with National Rail Enquiries. When you can, travel must resume by noon the next day. This doesn't apply to cross-London transfers.
