Ref. 1 "Seller financing is a loan provided by the seller of a property or business to the purchaser. Usually, the purchaser will make some sort of down payment to the seller, and then make installment payments (usually on a monthly basis) over a specified time, at an agreed-upon interest rate, until the loan is fully repaid. In layman's terms, this is when the seller in a transaction offers the buyer a loan rather than the buyer obtaining one from a bank." mortgage note Explanation: Don't know how 'half-cocked' this is, but I didn't get many hits on your term ... and none in the singular? There are many kinds of 'notes' or 'promissory notes' out there, named according to what is being sold. Your context ? Here's what I'm basing this suggestion on -- www.prometheuspension.se/Files.aspx?f_id=56765 where they equate your term with 'hypotekslån'. A idea in any case. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 43 mins (2014-03-20 08:14:01 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Agree, like I said, it can depends on what is being sold -- but I still lean towards 'note' or 'promissory note' -- Have you seen this one? http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/promissorynote.asp |

vendor loans or vendor loan notes Explanation: Spotted the expression in bilingual Swedish-English published account of board meeting at Cloetta. Swedish term used was säljarrevers. See http://www.cloetta.com/en/article/extraordinary-general-meet... BTW Google throws up 22K results for "vendor loan" Example sentence(s):
