E' un'impostazione di un'applicazione per fare trading valutario. Credo che serva a fissare un tasso di riferimento, magari massimo o minimo, per comprare e vendere le valute entro il proprio budget, ma non riesco a trovare un'espressione efficace.

Ho ricevuto questa spiegazione dal cliente:
"This is the Foreign Exchange rate which a company has budgeted for, for a specific period of time. For example, a company might be buying stock from America, and they work out that they need to buy their stock when the USD exchange rate is 89.95 cents or lower otherwise they won’t make a profit. This is called a ‘budgeted rate’."

Credo quindi che questa sia la soluzione più corretta (un'altra che mi era venuta in mente era "tasso messo a bilancio"). Tra l'altro, si tratta di inglese canadese.

Explanation:
Ora non ho tempo per fare ricerche più approfondite, ma se non si tratta della leva, immagino si tratti appunto (come dici tu) della percentuale di budget che si desidera rischiare in un'operazione.
Non so... vediamo se altri colleghi hanno idee migliori.

Explanation:
Il wordreference lo traduce anche con 'bilancio di previsione', ma credo si riferisca al massimo consentito di perdita in una posizione aperta di trading on line. Quindi ho preferito la traduzione 'tetto di spesa'.
