Thank you for the grammar lesson. Where I come from to say that 'a complete nonsense' is dissonant and gramatically incorrect is, I'm afraid to say, a complete nonsense.

Thank you for your gracious remarks, Billh. The phrase within the quotations "any and all relief sought...." was the one I was seeking and it was provided by a local attorney that specializes in international [Mexico-US] law, which is the area in which I work. I surmise that localization is important in any translation. For example, here we would use "it's complete nonsense"...inasmuch as "is a * nonsense" complete or not is dissonant and gramatically incorrect. Perhaps with all your experience you could give your suggestion on a better stock phrase for the above. Again, thanks for your input.

Mr. Ables, I certainly do know what the legal proceeding is about, however, inasmuch as the phrase I am researching is a stock phrase in Mexican Documents, one that is used regardless of the issue or subject matter in the legal proceedings, I thought a full paragraph was sufficient context. I was confident that some of the more experienced translators would have the English equivalent to said stock phrase. But no matter, I have found the English phrase I was seeking in another venue. Thank you all for your submissions and your kind remarks.

Yes, you could tanslate it as claims or obligations but I don't thiink that prestaciones could be translated as works, rents, loans. It is just how yo want to word your translation. By the same token services is quite general and lacking something more specific I also think it is perfectly acceptable. When you provide a service you create an obligation to pay for the service and you can claim to be paid for those services. And prestaciones does mean services in Spanish. Also as Billh stated, amounts will be fine as well.

If you don't know what the trial is about avoid it. "pay each and every one of the claims" It could refer to loans, services, work, rent, payments, charges...
