Engagement Ring


Explanation:
Although it is traditional to offer a large amount of jewelry to an Arab/Easterner bride, the term's equivalent in the western world would be an "engagement ring"

I am encouraged to add another note after the kind feedback from my colleagues :)

Again and although I still feel the meaning can only be captured by using the term "engagement ring", I believe it is possible to call it "engagement jewelry." However, it may require a small explanation to follow: that in the Arab world it is customary to present the pride with an undisclosed amount of jewelry instead of a simple ring.
