Mil gracias

As some courses have residential schools, you can visit the campus for face-to-face lectures and tutorials, use the facilities and meet staff members and other students.

Is the subject of your document on line learning?

I think the ST is referring to university education with the use of terms such as 'lectrues', tutorials' and 'campus'. As suggested by Jessica Noyes it could relate to a primarily online learning facility which also offers short residential courses.
The Open University existed long before the internet, providing degrees and even doctorates via distance learning (see www.open.ac.uk).

If other context confirms that subject is tertiary education, I think "escuelas residenciales" along is okay. If it is not clear from other parts of the text that the subject is tertiary ed., then maybe "escuelas residenciales de/en universidades" o "...universitarias" would help to distinguish it from an "interado".

AN extract from the Open University webpage (in Spanish) about their business school:

neutral Neil Ashby : Hi Mónica, does 'internados' also apply to tertiary education? I thought that 'internados' only applied to primary and secondary eduction, whereas the ST seems to be referring to tertiary ed., e.g. 'campus', 'lectures', 'tutorials'.
