I am looking for a word that will have different meanings among Spanish Speaking countries, to demonstrate how sometime is important to localize for Latin America. I have in my mind "Mona" because in Colombia means "Blond woman", however I know it means very different in other countries. Could you please help me with other meanings in other countries? Feel free to write your country and the meaning. Many thanks for your help! Ana

Woops, "bonita", like in Argentina.

Let me remark that it is "bonita" only if it is used as an adjective.
If you say "es una mona", it's exactly the opposite! And if you say "Me fue como la mona", it means you did not do well at all.

mona
varios

Explanation:
