optional specialization, - course Explanation: Note the term is master's deGree and not deCree. Within any degree course, there are a number of so-called options, some of which, bizarrely enough are compulsory, others which are optional. The former reads like a contradiction in terms, but it simply means that if you want you particular specialization to be validated, you must chose the compulsory one. The latter generally requires a student to chose say 2 modules from say 4 on offer. Your term does not indicate whether this option is compulsory or not and it is not important here. You can only translate what is there. This is an optional specialization course. You cannot be too creative with diplomas and qualifications as you can easily under or over translate and either fail to give credit for certain things and confer others which have not been awarded. Parallels cannot and should not be drawn. That is the job of an equivalences bureau. You need to remain descriptive. |
