a graphic illustration
I would suggest this. It's quite a common set phrase, in which "graphic" means "vivid" as well as "visual", and "vivid" captures the tone of "verdadero". So I think turning the original noun in Spanish into the cognate adjective in English fits well. "Illustration" covers "gráfico", but it also means something that enables you to visualise the model, which seems suitable to me.

Better than "chart" I think.
