Task= έργον, αγγαρεία
Υπηρεσία= Service
transphy Mar 3, 2013:
'In English', Mr. Close, 'Track record', incidentally it is not specified here of which period, is what somebody has done in other Cos. before, 'Υπηρεσίες'=Services in his/her PREVIOUS emplpoymentS(plural). It is NOT of his behaviour ONLY. My 'track record' presented to a Bank for a loan is not a 'track record' of my behaviour. The Bank MIGHT be interested in that but what they want is what I did before to justify this loan, as an example. So, do me a favour and look it up, before you invoke ''...in English....''
Peter Close Mar 3, 2013:
@Transphy: 'Υπηρεσίες τις οποίες εξετέλεσε' does not necessarily imply 'ιστορικό υπηρεσιών' over an extended period of time. When we talk of a person's track record in English, we generally refer to his behaviour from the moment that he joins an organisation up to the present or over a specific extended period of time.

neutral Peter Close : If it were ‘track record’, I think that the text would have included the word ‘ιστορικό’, because ‘track record’ implies a record of actual performance or accomplishment over an extended period of time.
