officinal herbs


Explanation:
Nothing wrong with this term either. It is also a perfectly acceptable but perhaps slightly less common way of saying it. It really depends on your context/audience. It originates, like so many words in English, from Latin.

Most medicinal herbs have "officinalis" as part of their name:
