I know I promised no more sailing queries.... But I had a last minute entry in my sailing translation :-) So, some more chances for Kudoz points for all you sailors out there.
The context here is that the participants in a regatta are described, in Spanish, as "the elite of the IMS" Later a vessel called "The Zurich" is referred to as the IMS Zurich.
Can anyonone throw any light on this abbreviation?
