German term
nicht sicher gestaut
German to English
Medical
Medical (general)
This comes from the result of an urologic ultrasound: beide Nieren nicht sicher gestaut. Parenchyme o.B., kleiner Kelchstein......
I'm really stuck on this "nicht sicher" gestaut.
Could it be: 'Not certain if both kidneys are congested' (but I doubt that is the translation because the ultrasound should be able to tell you that)
Or could it be: 'Both kidneys are certainly not congested' (but I would think in German it would say 'sicherlich nicht').
Any help would be appreciated.

inconclusive findings on bilateral urinary obstruction
That is how I would rephrase it. Sonography does not offer conclusive findings in this case.
