Flächengewicht Explanation: „Das Flächengewicht ( früher Quadratmetergewicht ) mA ist der Quotient aus Gewicht und Fläche“. mA = (m / A) = ( l*b)m -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2012-07-25 06:51:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- nach (DIN 53884) auch als "area weight" bezeichnet Ich weiss aber nicht genau ob face weight und area weight dasselbe bezeichnen, vielleicht nur mit anderen Maßeinheiten (einmal mit metrischen und einmal mit englischen Maßeinheiten). Ich konnte dazu keine Quellen finden. |

Florgewicht Explanation: Hat ein bisschen länger gedauert, aber ich glaube, ich hab's: 1. face weight= pile weight The last consideration is face weight (weight of the carpet pile) per square yard. "A higher face weight means more yarn," says Grable, "And more yarn makes for a longer-lasting product." As an example, within one product line the "good-level" carpet has a face weight of 40 oz.; the "best-level" weighs in at 63 oz. http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/article/0,,203266-4,00.html Face (or pile) weight: The total weight of the face (above and below the backing) yarns in the carpet. The more ounces per square yard, the denser the pile and, potentially, the greater the wearability of the carpet. http://www.baneclene.com/articles/manufacturing-carpet.html 2. pile weight= Florgewicht http://tiny.cc/lts0hw http://www.teppich-haus.ch/pdf-dateien/Kollektion-Handtuft.p... z.B.
