The cutting injection process is likely to consist of intermittent injections of small batches of slurry, which are expected to result in the generation of multiple fractures, as based on industry experience. In addition to brief shut-in periods during intermittent injections, longer shut-in periods are expected, during which time cuttings will not be generated (such as when casing is being set, or between the drilling of each well). The longer (e.g., several days) shut-in periods would result in closure of the fracture.
