Tłumaczę tekst angielski ewidentnie tłumaczony (choć zleceniodawca twierdzi, że nie) z francuskiego (konkretnie dotyczy prawa belgijskiego), gdzie występuje attachment (w oryg. zapewne saisi) i garnishment (saisie-arrêt). Wiadomo mniej więcej na czym polega różnica, ale po polsku i to zajęcie, i to zajęcie.

Saisie-arrêt to NIBY jest zajęcie wynagrodzenia (tak podają słowniki), ale z tekstu wynika że nie tylko. Przedmiotem saisie-arrêt mogą bowiem być także papiery wartościowe (akcje i udziały w spółce) i inne rzeczy niematerialne.

Przytaczam cały ustęp, żeby można się było zorientować w zawiłościach terminologii:

The attachment of intangible property (also called garnishment) is a procedure through which a creditor may obtain possession of dematerialised property that makes up his debtor's assets; as opposed to the tangible assets that may be the subject of a standard garnishment

Z tego wynika, że garnishment jest rodzajem attachment. Angielska Wikipedia twierdzi, że akurat odwrotnie, ale to nieistotne. Bardziej niepokoi mnie to "standard garnishment". Standard czyli co? Czy standard garnishment to to samo co saisie, a więc attachment? A to jest pierwszy akapit tekstu...
