It might have been advisable to post this as "English - English", as strictly what you want is a clarification of text rather than a term translation (it's the best way for this type of problem, and it also attract a wider audience).

Having said that, the contract wording is distinctly suspect, as EdithK observes, and does indeed already look like a translation, albeit not a particularly good one. I'd suggest you put the revised English to the client and ask him to confirm that it is acceptable as a source text - the original text cannot possibly have been written by an ENS with real knowledge of contracts.

BTW, I suggested the asterisk text as the original suggests that maintenance of the schedule is already impossible.

Ist das bereits eine Übersetzung aus einer anderen Sprache? Der Sinn ist doch klar. Luftfracht, damit es schneller geht und der Liefertermin eingehalten werden kann, und das zu Kosten des Verkäufers. Voilà.
