"Green bean" es uno de esos vegetales que presenta la dificultad de poseer un nombre diferente casi que en cada país de habla hispana. Yo me inclinaría por cualquier término que incluya la palabra "verde".

I'd avoid using the term "guiso" often associated with meat stews and meat-based fillings for Venezuelan hallacas, Puerto Rican pasteles, empanadas, etc.

agree  Adriana Martinez: Si se considera que la mayoría de hispanos en EE.UU. son mexicanos, yo diría ejotes. Judías verdes no lo creo. Sin embargo, también hay puertorriqueños y para green beans utilizan habichuelas tiernas. Difícil establecer un solo término. :)
