hi again! I'm still with technical specifications of rolling stock and there's one term I don't really understand the meaning of - lote de consignación. Please see context:

Lote de consignación

Con el objeto de asegurar una satisfactoria disponibilidad y mantenibilidad del tren, con un coste óptimo, el proveedor deberá definir un lote de consignación para la etapa de garantía, teniendo en cuenta las siguientes consideraciones:
El lote de consignación es el lote requerido para llevar a cabo correctamente la fase de garantía, y alcanzar los objetivos de disponibilidad solicitados por el Cliente final.
Esto significa que los tiempos de entrega o de reparación de las piezas no puede provocar inmovilizaciones que afecten al servicio comercial.
El lote de consignación es propiedad del proveedor.
Tras el periodo de garantía este lote será devuelto al proveedor.
El cálculo del lote de consignación debe ser realizado utilizando la Ley de Poisson, y teniendo en cuenta un riesgo de ruptura del stock del 5%.
El proveedor deberá cumplimentar para cada componente la siguiente información:
Número de referencia.
Cantidad por tren.
Tiempo de reparación o reemplazamiento (incluyendo transporte si el componente debe ser enviado a un servicio post-venta)
Tasa de fallos en millón de kilómetros.
Toda esta información debe ser coherente con la información reflejada en el Coste de Ciclo de (LCC).
Si el proveedor lo estima oportuno podrá presentar una lista de lote de consignación alternativa, como complemento a la calculada según lo especificado, y que esté basada en la experiencia de este en la garantía de su aprovisionamiento.
