French term

une offre susceptible de commande

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Cahier des charges
Hi all.

On the surface, this is a pretty simple phrase. I know what it means, and I know a couple ways to say it in English, but they seem very clunky and odd, and I was wondering if anyone had come across this before. This is in the tender specifications of a contract for services.

Some context:

It shows up a lot, and it's getting very unwieldy.

Thanks!

a bid/offer that is likely to be accepted/approved

a bid/offer that is likely to be accepted/approved (and give rise to an order)

disagree B D Finch : That would imply pre-emption of the selection process.
