I think "fruir" really means to appreciate, and I think that it in English it is more natural to make it plural, rather than treating "el público" as a single entity. "Appreciators and potential buyers".

agree  Evans (X): I think this is the closest you are going to get if you stick with a noun. For a more natural result it would probably best to change the phrase and use a verb as Phil suggests.
