German term

L-Datum

German to English Medical Medical: Health Care
In a laboratory chart, A-Datum and A-Zeit refer to the order (Auftrag) date and time. L-Datum and L-Zeit??? Presumably refers to the time the lab results were obtained, but lab date and lab time don't seem to fit.
Proposed translations (English)
3 Lieferdatum und Lieferzeit

Thanks for the confirmation, Astinchen!
Astinchen Nov 23, 2011:
Yes, usually A is Auftrag and L is Lieferung. I agree with cfrascaRN.
cfrascaRN, you should post this as an answer ;0)
Christiane Frasca Nov 22, 2011:
Could it be Lieferdatum und Lieferzeit, meaning the date and time a certain specimen was received by the lab? The time a specimen was obtained from a patient and the time it was received by the lab will always be documented.
In a larger context, it could be the delivery date and time of a certain order.

Lieferdatum und Lieferzeit

as per my discussion entry, date and time a specimen was obtained must be documented and also date and time of when it was actually received in the lab
Example sentence:

specimen drawn at xx:xx, received at xx:xx
