What is being modelled?
If prestress is involved, this could be referring to slippage of the tensioning tendons, resulting in loss of part of the total force initially applied (relaxation of the prestress).
Since this is a factor that the model cannot determine (I don't think) it is likely to be something entered into the calculation as a hypothetical value, together with the other "physical" values listed which are NOT "described by the model" but "in the model".
With an assumed slippage of x% of the prestressing force initially applied per kilonewton of structural force applied subsquently, I suppose the model COULD calculate subsequent total slippage, but I think it is assumed slippage will reach a limit value and stop.
