I'm translating an email message addressed to several persons with "Mail til Postmottak" in the subject heading. I'm guessing it's some sort of centralized document handling system. I found this at the site of a vendor of digital services:
"Med elektronisk postmottak får mottakeren post direkte i eget CRM-, ERP- eller fakturasystem. På denne måten blir dokumenter raskere tilgjengelig med optimal kvalitet i kjernesystemet."

Administrative bodies are required to have such a reception system, see Section 3-2 of Regulations to the Norwegian Archives Act (Organ som nyttar e-post, skal ha eit sentralt e-postmottak for post til organet. E-post til det sentrale postmottaket skal opnast av arkivtenesta).
Of course, if this is found in an email address (postmottak@) then you would not change the name of the actual email.
