This is part of a meat coating machine. "Les trappes de visite ou capots seront equipes de securite et munis de verins d'assistance en inox." Processed meat production lines are a complete mystery to me, give me a pharmaceutical text any day, so help very gratefully accepted.

| Thanks, I use Linee myself, but repeatedly searched the term on the internet and found no English term. I see now that it is "power cylinder" in my context, since no gas is involved and the "gas strut" involves pressurised gas. Can't think why it didn't come up when I looked, but thanks so much. |
