Es más, si el texto ofrece información clara sobre que tipo de investigación es, yo agregaría esa información luego de la palabra investigación ( ej, investigación clínica). Por lo poco que entiendo del texto parece ser un clinical trial, pero no puedo estar segura sin un poco más contexto.
