For example:

First link is the pairing. Second link is Google results for "export port". I'm not very fond of the alliterative construction, but it seems to be in wide use.

Yes, I think you're right with "shipping port". See http://tinyurl.com/3q4s2kr for extensive association of that with Incoterms.

I read too much into the source and inferred that this was the sort of development explicitly targeting export trading.
