si tratta di una scatola alquanto complicata munita di pannelli di fissaggio, mezzi di sollevamento eccetera. A un certo punto, mi viene questa frase che dice "the lifting means is provided by a finger tab engagement means"
ovvero che i mezzi di sollevamento sono forniti di un mezzo per il collegamento a (della), a mio avviso, linguetta. C'è qualcuno che sa dirmi se in questo caso l'espressione "collegamento a(della) linguetta" va bene per "finger tab engagement means" o se esiste un traducente migliore? Grazie!

Il mio suggerimento non esclude che tu possa, comunque, usare linguetta, che rientra nella traduzione di tab e si usa anche per buste (la chiudenda).
Pateletta è solo un altro modo per definire una linguetta
