Lateral Epicondylitis - treatment
Treatment includes the immediate use of RICE, NSAIDs, and analgesics as needed. Rehabilitation includes ROM exerdses, PRE, deep friction massage, hand grasping while in supination, and avoidance of pronation movements." Mobilization and stretching may be used within pain-free limits. The patient may wear a counterforce elbow sleeve for one to three months." The patient must be taught proper skill techniques and the proper use of equipment to avoid recurrence of the injury."
