Explanation: Given the context of equipment hire (though you don't say what kind of equipment), it appears that some equipment has been returned or otherwise rejected on the grounds of being "hors gamme", ie out of calibration, or out of spec. However, "hors gamme" as in "hors série", may also have the meaning of special or unusual. Although I don't think this is the meaning here, I have rated my confidence as "low", and others may know better. |
