'Scherfmuur of tweede omhulling' - this, I'm afraid is the only reference in the entire text.
The context is actually related to ATEX (explosive atmospheres) and 'scherfmuur' appears on the drawing of what I assume to be a fuel storage bunker. While I have been unable to find a translation, after endless googling, etc., I've come to believe that it might be a casemate / casemate wall. However, as this is a military term (plus I may well be barking up the wrong tree) I'm reluctant to use it. I hope that someone out there might be able to offer a plausible translation. TIA

: A blast wall of course serves a protective funtion. Since 'scherven' (sherds) refer directly to the effects of a blast, I think this is the more accurate translation.
