Well, these official translations are always a problem.
Wikipedia says:

Cannot say that I love it, but I don't love it in the original either.

: Sorry, but I do not understand why "provincial" except in case of Vojvodina which is a Province, please Google search for your answer; sorry but the text on Wikipedia applies to Vojvodina as well. In addition, surveying is proper term in English.
