English term or phrase: trip
When the trip system is depressurized (tripped), the turbine main steam valves, the Gas Turbine fuel valves and the IGVs are tripped closed.
The trip fluid system provides high pressure (112.5 kg/cm2) trip fluid to the actuators for the main steam valves.
The low vacuum trip protects the turbine buckets from the effects of excessive pressure at the exhaust.
Accordingly, there is an alarm and a trip associated with low vacuum (high exhaust pressure).
The trip fluid system is part of the hydraulic fluid system.

disparo

Explanation:

Reference: trip - deactivation

Reference information:
It is evidently a combined-cycle system. In any case, the tripping as described deactivates both the gas turbine and the steam turbines (removes the external sources of energy - steam and fuel = combustible) - I don't know what is IGV in this context. This is the normal meaning of trip (tripping) - deactivation. By the way, it is quite an international term.
