crowdsourcing

GBK English to Czech Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Definition from Jeff Howe:
Crowdsourcing is the act of taking a job traditionally performed by a designated agent (usually an employee) and outsourcing it to an undefined, generally large group of people in the form of an open call.
Example sentences:
Cash is key to getting people to participate, but successful crowdsourcing taps into a well of passion about a product that stretches beyond monetary incentives. (Bloomberg L.P.)
Surprisingly for a sector that has traditionally relied on volunteers to make up for its limited resources, development institutions have been slow to embrace "crowdsourcing" as a model for adding value (The World Bank Group)
So, are crowdsourced translations the future of our business? Probably not. Will crowdsourcing play a role in some sectors of the translation business? Probably. (ForeignExchange Translations, Inc.)

crowdsourcing

Definition from Frederik Ramm:
Zapojení co nejširšího okruhu přispěvatelů k tvorbě jednoho produktu
Example sentences:
(Lupa.cz)
