wear time on your wrist Explanation: there are numerous possibilities, aren't there, here's one, you could also say the watch is "like an extension of your skin". I agree with your doubt, as "second skin" suggests something like a wet suit for diving, something which covers the body like the skin does (but a wristwatch doesn't, so the original is not a brilliant analogy IMHO). an extension of yourself Explanation: Second skin isn't really used in English I see that it is a popular documentary title at the moment, hoever. We do say that something is an extension of oneself but, I wouldn't sau an extension of your skin. |
