In limba romana nu se foloseste notiunea de "mascare" , asa ca varianta care ne ramane este cea cu elementele de protectie.

Cu toate ca, in ultimul timp, tot aud de banda de mascare (in continuare, imi pare o exprimare fortata) nu situ cum ar fi treaba cu ... demascarea :-)

ooops ... doresc sa mai precizez ceva ... in limba romana, in domeniul constructiilor, cuvantul "masca" se refera la elemente de constructie: masca pentru chiuveta, masca pentru tevi, etc.

In limba romana nu se foloseste notiunea de "mascare" , asa ca varianta care ne ramane este cea cu elementele de protectie.

Explanation:
Ţinând cont că este vorba de subdomeniul Vopsele, este util următorul exemplu:
Vopsire electrostatică. Soluţii de mascare şi protecţie la vopsire.

Elementele de mascare şi protecţie se aplică pe suprafeţele care nu trebuiesc vopsite şi se îndepărtează după uscarea vopselei, lăsând curată suprafaţa nevopsită. Prin acest procedeu se elimină necesitatea curăţirii ulterioare.
