Beats me. Is there a one word solution?

Als prestatie-indicatoren worden o.a. gebruikt:
- Productiviteit
- Offertescore
- Omzetontwikkeling

Discussion

adremco (asker) Nov 10, 2009:
Not much more context to give, short of posting the whole document. It's just this isolated bit. But it's about their own quotations, not about quotations they get from others. That much I'm sure of. I actually thought (but am not sure!) it might mean something like: how well do our quotations do, what is their score. How many result in actual jobs.

It's a bit strange and I don't quite know what to make of it, because this is a non-profit organisation. So I was hoping somebody had an "a-hah!, I know that!" moment. Like the time I asked for a translation of "alleen is maar alleen"...

There is some info on the web if you google "offertescore". No pun intended ;)

bid / quote hit rate

As already mentioned, this is the proportion of orders booked resulting from quotes made. Order tracking software usually allows you to classify orders as 'booked', 'pending' or 'lost'.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Bid hit rate has a nice ring to it. Thanks!"

bid score

You haven't given much context, but this sounds like an invitation to tender. The bid would be rated using different criteria, such as value for money and compliance with specifications, giving it a score enabling it to be compared with others.

bid/proposal success rate

Perhaps even 'tender success rate' if it actually refers to 'aanbesteding' (see your additional information).

agree Oliver Pekelharing : This suggests the number of successful bids only... I though it might mean the total number of bids brought out, not just the number of successful bids. I thought Chris' suggestion left both options open, but I see it means the same thing.

I fail to see your point here. The 'bid success rate' is a win ratio (cf. also bid-win ratio), usually expressed as a percentage, just like the 'bid hit rate' (cf. Chris' answer below) that you have graded with an 'agree' ....??? / Thanks for your reply!
