The text I'm working on concerns circuit breakers. I'm stuck on"verrou de surenclenchement" and would really appreciate any suggestions.
The sentence is:
Quel que soit le type de votre commande, vous devez impérativement contrôler le jeu du verrou de surenclenchement
TIA

Never seen it before, can't back up my answer, but I just think it sounds like an interlock (note low level of certainty). Good luck.

I wonder if this document will help you at all; around pages 227 to 229 it has diagrams of circuit breakers and explains the operation of their latches, trip catches, etc. etc. Perhaps some of these things correspond to what is being described in your document.

Hi Kari, If it's any help in the same doc I've got 'verrou d'enclenchement' and 'cliquet d'enclenchement'. Thanks for your help, Susan |

Comment: "Hi Kari, I'm only giving 2 pts not because I'm mean but I'm not at all certain. I think you are on the right tracks but I've had to deliver and I've asked for a confirmation. The google book was a good read and confirmed many things. Thanks Kari and Daniel for your discussion entry, both of you helped me! Susan"
