Meines Erachtens nach handelt es sich hier um Schäden, die bereits zuvor bestanden, nicht um "Bestände". Deshalb mein Vorschlag "Bestehende Schäden" oder "Im Vorfeld bestehende Schäden".

Ok, bei diesem Kontext bin ich mir mit meinem Vorschlag nicht mehr so sicher. Ist nicht näher erläutert, wovon die Rede ist? ¿Preexistencia de capital???

Asker: Leider nicht. Weiter vorn taucht aber auch existencia auf und das sind m.E. Bestände. Ich denke mit Vorbeständen sind wir wohl auf der sicheren Seite (hoffe ich :-))

agree  knoblauch: bestehende Schäden - Vorbestände wäre es im Falle von Lagerhaltung.
