Innanzitutto, secondo me manca una preposizione (of) nel testo originale. Trattandosi di un programma della Global Graphics, suppongo che venga utilizzato RIP come acronimo di Raster Image Processor (l'alternativa sarebbe Routing Information Protocol).

Tenterei un "Il lancio della Eclipse Release preannuncia anche una nuova importante caratteristica (della) release del programma RIP da parte di Global Graphics, per la quale saranno disponibili service packs regolari."
