saturación por agua pulverizada
El sistema usa agua a alta presión (>100 bar) para crear una niebla que satura el ambiente incendiado. El agua finamente pulverizada se evapora, lo cual absorbe calor y baja la temperatura del ambiente, y el vapor absorbe el oxígeno del aire, quitando uno de los elementos esenciales para sostener el fuego. El agua se evapora antes de tocar las partes calientes, por lo cual no produce daños a partes mecánicas por enfriamiento violento.
